Service Now Developer
About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled Service Now Developer with deep expertise in the ServiceNow design and development across our ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate has a strong development background, excellent analytical ability, and hands-on experience with ITSM ServiceNow modules including Now Assist.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain forms, flows, catalog items, integrations, etc.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, process owners, and platform engineers to define requirements.
- Support Agile ceremonies and uphold quality assurance throughout the lifecycle.
- Adhere to and enforce ServiceNow and OneGDIT best practices.
- Support platform upgrades, patching, and deployments.
- Participate in Agile software development efforts (standups, planning, grooming, estimation) to ensure quality delivery.
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Developers.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma required; AA or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Required Skills: 3 years of experience in prompt engineering, Now Assist and agentic AI. 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience within ITSM environment
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, modules, and platform capabilities
- Must be able to obtain within 90 days of hire: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Extensive experience designing forms, UI policies, client scripts, workflows, business rules, integrations, and custom applications
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills

Pay
The likely salary range for this position is $85,093 - $109,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
