Service Market Analyst III

About the role

The Service Market Analyst III position oversees industry information and statistics for Marine Service Management to support strategic planning and implementation. They lead the support of the business planning process for the Marine Service group, prepare year-round reporting, and analyze Marine Rigging Parts, Accessories, and Yamalube dealer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of Marine Service Management reporting and presentations for management teams.
• Lead the support of the business planning process for the Marine Service group.
• Oversee the Market Analyst in developing presentations for all other Divisions for internal and external use.
• Oversee and maintain Yamaha marine warranty and industry information/statistics to support operational reporting, strategic planning, and executive decision making.
• Prepare week/monthly marine service planning presentations.
• Analyze Marine Rigging Parts, Accessories, and Yamalube dealer engagement.
• Lead the implementation of new business initiatives.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Business or a related field is required; degree in Market Research is preferred.
• 3-5 years experience in an analytical role required.
• 2-3 years of industry experience required.
• Strong proficiency of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a passion for the outdoors, boating, and fishing.
• Must be able to travel with minimal notice.

Skills

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI, Business Objects is required.
• Strong analytical, presentation, and oral communication skills are required.
