Service Manager

About the Role

As an Orkin Service Manager, you’ll be the quality control ensuring top-notch service from the industry leader with nearly 125 years of expertise. You’ll train and develop Orkin Pros to protect homes and businesses, balancing technical skills with empathy and integrity to give customers peace of mind. Responsibilities

• Lead an entire service operation upon completion of paid training
• Motivate the service team to consistently provide the world’s best service, prioritizing safety
• Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers
• Assist with recruiting top talent for the service team
• Train and develop Orkin Pros through hands-on management
• Lead training meetings
• Oversee the Orkin Pro Ride-A-Long program
• Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded through inspections, proposed courses of action, and empathetic service
• Champion innovation by supporting the team in adopting new products, services, and technology
• Monitor scheduling, routing, and inventory to drive efficiencies and productivity
• Participate in community service projects that improve your local area

Requirements

• Sales experience preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid)
• Ability to work in the field independently and interact with clients

Work Environment

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), which may include an OSHA-compliant respirator
• Work in various weather conditions
