Service Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversight of all shop operations including scheduling and implementing company procedures.
• Directing shop techs in following procedures and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Instructing, coaching, and managing shop techs to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Facilitating daily inspections of shop tools and equipment, scheduling maintenance as needed.
• Maintaining proper Shop Monkey procedures and ensuring shop tech documentation.
• Implementing and enforcing TIA, ALI, and company guidelines related to the shop.
• Enforcing company Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety policies.
• Performing first torque procedures and secondary torque of technicians.
• Verifying completion of figures after technician first torque.
• Ordering products through 1st Call and vendors for services and installs.
• Scheduling staff and assisting in hiring and recruiting of shop personnel.
• Training shop techs and completing weekly company truck maintenance and inspections.
• Assisting in return to vendor paperwork (RTV's).
• Maintaining and overseeing customer special orders binder.
• Completing daily equipment calibration and safety inspections.
• Maintaining daily shop cleaning schedule.
• Managing customer returns, cleaning, labeling, and preparing for sale.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a background check prior to hire.
