Service Manager

NOVO Health Services offers linen management solutions to the healthcare industry, focusing on safety and infection control. We provide partner hospitals with a value-driven linen management control system that measures and monitors linen utilization by department to eliminate excess internal costs. Our regional healthcare linen facilities are HLAC accredited and operate with state-of-the-art processing equipment and processes.

About the role

This isn't a desk job managing from a distance. You'll hire, train, and coach the Route Service Representatives who deliver clean linen and pick up soil product every day—and you'll be ready to run a route yourself when the business needs you to. Your fleet, your team, your accounts, your results. You'll manage the daily account functions that determine whether customers stay, including audits, scrub counts, route reconciliations, truck maintenance logs, and linen reconciliation.

You'll lead by example, covering routes during absences, running route logistics around vacations and holidays, and acting as an RSR during market startups. Every route keeps hospitals stocked and patients cared for.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, develop, and coach Route Service Representatives (RSRs) to deliver the right product, in the right quantity, within the right time window.
• Manage daily account functions: audits, scrub counts, route reconciliations, truck maintenance logs, and linen reconciliation.
• Cover routes during absences, run route logistics around vacations and holidays, and support market startups as needed.
• Maintain DOT/FMCSA compliance and ensure fleet safety, cleanliness, and road-readiness.
• Demonstrate financial awareness by understanding the numbers behind the routes you run.

Requirements

• Previous management experience and strong leadership skills, ideally in a route-based or distribution environment.
• Customer-centric mindset with a demonstrated quality focus.
• Experience with DOT/FMCSA compliance and fleet management.
• Financial awareness and comfort with route-based metrics.
• Ability to adapt to competing demands and a rapidly growing customer base.
• Reliable transportation and ability to pass customer credentialing requirements.

A bachelor's degree is a plus, but we prioritize hands-on experience and proven delivery.
