At EquipmentShare, we’re assembling the best team to transform the construction industry through innovative technology, real-time support, and a team that truly cares. We’re hiring a Service Manager at our rental facility in Gulfport, MS to lead a team of Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technicians.
Responsibilities
- Use our tech to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track machine service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues faster by pulling data from hundreds of makes and models
- Determine the root cause and corrective action for each issue quickly using real-time information
- Coordinate and supervise the quality performance of equipment mechanics and service personnel
- Schedule repairs for customer and company-owned rental equipment
- Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure 100% satisfaction and keep customers informed about new ways EquipmentShare can improve their business
- Promptly respond to and resolve customer inquiries, requests, complaints, or other communications
- Provide employee training and development while maintaining a safe work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications
- Industry knowledge (rental industry or related construction field)
- Three years of maintenance and service experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Adaptable to the fast pace of a growing company
- Ability to quickly educate yourself about and stay up-to-date on EquipmentShare products and services
- Competitive yet thrive in a team-oriented environment
- Preference given to applicants with experience and/or a background in the construction industry
- Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills
Education and Experience
- High school diploma (trade school certificate preferred)
- Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair preferred
- Experience leading maintenance teams
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record (must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle)
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to move, stand, stoop, and bend freely
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- This is a safety-sensitive position; any offer of employment will be contingent on passing a 10-panel drug screen
Schedule
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
