Service Manager

About the role

At EquipmentShare, we’re hiring a Service Manager at our rental facility in Lakeland, FL. This position is part of a dynamic team building the future of construction through innovative technology and exceptional service.

Primary Responsibilities

• Create, assign, and monitor work orders using our tech platform
• Track machine service intervals and order parts
• Diagnose issues quickly by pulling data from hundreds of makes and models
• Coordinate and supervise the quality performance of Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technicians
• Schedule repairs for both customer and company-owned rental equipment
• Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships
• Promptly respond to and resolve customer inquiries, requests, complaints, or other communications
• Train and develop employees and maintain a safe work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Industry knowledge (rental industry or related construction field)
• Three years of maintenance and service experience
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Adaptable to a fast-paced, growing company environment
• Experience leading maintenance teams
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• At least 21 years old to operate company vehicles
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times
• Pass a 10-panel drug screen and background check
