Service Management Trainee- Linen/Uniform

Mission Linen Supply has immediate opportunities for our Management Trainee program in state-of-the-art operating plants in California and Arizona. All candidates must be willing to relocate during or after training to manage their own team within the first 3 years to qualify for the program.

About the role

The Service Management Trainee will learn to provide leadership to a team of Drivers (Route Sales and Service Representatives - RSSRs), ensuring unsurpassed customer satisfaction and pushing the team to achieve operational goals. Trainees will direct efforts designed to maximize new business accounts, further the penetration of existing accounts, and ensure account retention.

This hands-on, well-structured 30-week management-training program combines rotations in various departments to prepare the trainee for a management position that best matches their interest, skills, and abilities. Upon completion, trainees will be promoted to a Management position leading their own team.

The program includes support from senior management, progress reports, and participation in company-sponsored management development workshops. Trainees will be part of a management career track with opportunities for growth into key management positions throughout the company.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to a team of Drivers (Route Sales and Service Representatives - RSSRs).
• Ensure unsurpassed customer satisfaction and operational goal achievement.
• Maximize new business accounts and further penetrate existing accounts.
• Responsible for account retention.
• Participate in a structured management-training program with department rotations.
• Complete progress reports and attend management development workshops.

• Ability to provide effective leadership.
• Thorough understanding of Mission’s products and services.
• High level of organization and computer literacy.
• Demonstrated leadership potential and strong business and customer orientation.
• Willingness to relocate during or after training (within the first 3 years).
• Ability to relocate to other states for career growth.

Qualifications

• A college degree is highly desired; military experience is welcomed.
• 3-5 years of experience in a management role.
• Education and experience demonstrating intelligence, commitment, and a willingness to learn.
• Drive and desire to learn all aspects of the business and make a difference.

Pay

Management Trainee base salary is $70,304, depending on education, experience, other qualifications, and location of assignment.
