Service Management Business Analyst

Location: Remote/Hybrid if local to Maryland (MON & WED in the office)
Residency Requirement: Candidates must have lived in the U.S. for at least 3 of the past 5 years and be authorized to work in the U.S. (Citizen, Permanent Resident, or EAD).

Job Overview: Cogent People Inc. is seeking a Service Management Business Analyst to support a mission-critical large-scale system serving the Federal Government in the healthcare domain.

Responsibilities

• Support service management activities across multiple release trains.
• Document business processes and functional requirements.
• Cook up test planning and execution.
• Facilitate cross-team communication, including client stakeholders.
• Create and maintain tracking artifacts.
• Aid with test case review and execution.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in business and functional analysis.
• 2+ years of experience in functional design and business process design.
• Experience working with QA teams, supporting test planning and execution.
• Experience operating in a SAFe Agile environment, across multiple teams and release trains.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality and accurate work.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Prioritize time and tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in federal government programs, or regulated environments (CMS experience is preferred).
• Experience in client-facing position is highly desired.
