Service Maintenance Worker, Evening Shift

What You'll be Doing:
The Service Maintenance Technician in the department of Administrative Operations helps keep building systems and equipment running smoothly by performing a variety of repair and maintenance tasks. This includes work in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, painting, plastering, and locksmithing. The role involves responding to work orders, troubleshooting problems, and assisting with repairs as needed. The position requires hands-on work, the ability to prioritize tasks, and a willingness to learn and assist across multiple trades to keep operations running efficiently.
What We're Looking For:
Education and Experience (S1)
Qualified Candidates Will Need:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 0-1 years of general maintenance work experience
Skills Needed:
- Proficiency in one or more of the following: basic plumbing, carpentry, electricity, painting, plastering and locksmith fields
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics and written and verbal instructions, perform basic math functions
- Competencies for this position are work standards and productivity, communication, interpersonal and intercultural relations, decision making, and dependability; may include financial, coaching, delegation, and planning
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor and coworkers, and customers
- Ability to lift and move up to 60 pounds, climb ladders, and stand, walk or stoop extensively
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from different viewpoints and backgrounds
- A valid US or Canadian driver's license
