Service & Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintains facilities by performing light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work.
• Provides general maintenance support to sites by painting, building/repairing structures, interiors, shelving, cabinets, cleaning, and other basic maintenance.
• Maintains store equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning, and performing preventive maintenance.
• Facilitates repairs by contacting service vendors for materials.
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Participates in training for existing and new equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned or deemed necessary.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Manual dexterity to operate equipment, work in confined spaces, use hand/electric carts, power and hand tools; ability to crouch/crawl, use a ladder, and lift up to 80 lbs.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with multiple, changing priorities and to work independently.
• 3–5 years experience in A/C, Refrigeration, or General Maintenance field.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle to different store locations throughout the division.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to sit, talk, and/or hear.
• Frequently required to use hands to handle or grasp items.
• Occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with both hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to lift items weighing between 5–10 lbs.
