Service Janitor - Truck Garage

About the role

McKee Foods is seeking a Service Janitor to join our Transportation team. A Service Janitor is responsible for cleaning and upkeep of Fleet Maintenance facilities or office facilities. Occasionally may be asked to work in other areas as assigned by the supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Cleans restrooms, offices and break room as needed
• Keeps records of tasks performed
• Takes out the trash
• Operates floor machines and knows the differences and types of chemicals to use
• Has knowledge of MSDs and uses proper chemical for task at hand
• Effectively prioritizes time and activities to ensure the completion of assigned jobs
• Performs special assignments as necessary or as directed by supervision
• Willing to work wherever and whenever needed during scheduled shift
• Demonstrates workplace behavior that is consistent with company policies and values
• Communicates job information to accomplish work tasks
• Maintains good attendance as defined by company and/or department policy
• Practices good personal hygiene and maintains a clean work area
• Exercises personal safety on the job and demonstrates a commitment to the safety of others and our products
• Fleet Maintenance only: Assists with airport and Company Sales vehicles detailing, cleaning and test drive company/sales cars
• Runs errands when directed by supervisor

Requirements

• Must have a valid Driver's License
• Basic Computer Skills
• Ability to operate vacuums, pressure washers
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Pay

$19.22 - $20.42/hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Schedule

1st Shift (Monday-Thursday, 6:00 a.m. - 4:20 p.m.) — On-site at 272 Patton Farm Road, Stuarts Draft VA 24477
