Service Inventory Planning Systems Analyst| Testing

About the role

The KLA Services team, headquartered in Milpitas, CA, is seeking a skilled individual to join our dynamic team. This role is part of the service organization that includes Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support.

Responsibilities

• System Configuration & Feature Management: Configuration of planning parameters and business logic within the service inventory planning system related to demand forecasting, inventory optimization, replenishment and supply processes.
• Evaluate the impact of configuration changes on downstream planning, execution, and reporting, and communicate impacts clearly to stakeholders.
• Business Analysis: Perform ad hoc analytics using a variety of tools and data sources, define and/or develop analytical tools in PowerBI and other data visualization technologies, identify opportunities to enhance data reporting landscape.
• Testing, Validation & Continuous Improvement: Design and execute functional testing for configuration changes, new features, and enhancements, validate planning outputs against business expectations and real-world results, identify opportunities to simplify configurations, standardize logic, and improve system usability and scalability.
• Documentation & Communication: Maintain clear documentation of system configuration, planning logic, assumptions, and data design, support knowledge transfer, training, and enablement for business users and partners, act as a subject matter expert for the service inventory planning system.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience with service inventory planning systems such as Prophet by Baxter Planning, PTC SPM or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience configuring or supporting forecasting, inventory optimization, or supply operations in a service environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets.
• Proficiency with Excel and analytical tools; experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is a plus.
• Understanding of inventory planning concepts such as demand forecasting, inventory optimization, service levels, transactional automation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years.

Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed reflects the pay for this position in the primary location identified in this posting. Actual pay depends on several factors, including state minimum pay wage rates, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education level or training.
