About the role
The KLA Services team, based in Milpitas, CA, is seeking a skilled individual to manage the service planning system, ensuring efficient tool performance and productivity. This role requires a deep understanding of service inventory planning systems and strong analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage service planning system data input, connectivity, monitoring, and governance
- Identify and document requirements for data feed and data management improvements, working with internal and external teams
- Evaluate the impact of configuration changes on downstream planning, execution, and reporting, and communicate impacts clearly to team members
- Develop data quality monitoring metrics, reports, dashboards, and define or develop analytical tools in Power BI and other data visualization technologies
- Translate business requirements into system logic, parameters, or configurations
- Develop and implement functional testing for configuration changes, new features, and improvements
- Validate planning outputs against business expectations and real-world results
- Seek opportunities to simplify configurations, standardize logic, and improve system usability and scalability
- Maintain clear documentation of system configuration, planning logic, assumptions, and data development
- Support knowledge transfer, training, and enablement for business users and partners
- Act as an authority for the service inventory planning system
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with service inventory planning systems such as Prophet by Baxter Planning, PTC SPM, or equivalent
- Hands-on experience configuring or supporting forecasting, inventory optimization, or supply operations in a service environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets
- Proficiency with Excel and analytical tools; experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is a plus
- Understanding of inventory planning concepts such as demand forecasting, inventory optimization, service levels, transactional automation, and reporting
Qualifications
- Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience
- Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years
- Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years
Skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets
- Proficiency with Excel and analytical tools; experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is a plus
- Understanding of inventory planning concepts such as demand forecasting, inventory optimization, service levels, transactional automation, and reporting

- Base Pay Range: $90,400.00 - $153,700.00 Annually
