About the role

The KLA Services team, based in Milpitas, CA, is seeking a skilled individual to manage the service planning system, ensuring efficient tool performance and productivity. This role requires a deep understanding of service inventory planning systems and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage service planning system data input, connectivity, monitoring, and governance
  • Identify and document requirements for data feed and data management improvements, working with internal and external teams
  • Evaluate the impact of configuration changes on downstream planning, execution, and reporting, and communicate impacts clearly to team members
  • Develop data quality monitoring metrics, reports, dashboards, and define or develop analytical tools in Power BI and other data visualization technologies
  • Translate business requirements into system logic, parameters, or configurations
  • Develop and implement functional testing for configuration changes, new features, and improvements
  • Validate planning outputs against business expectations and real-world results
  • Seek opportunities to simplify configurations, standardize logic, and improve system usability and scalability
  • Maintain clear documentation of system configuration, planning logic, assumptions, and data development
  • Support knowledge transfer, training, and enablement for business users and partners
  • Act as an authority for the service inventory planning system

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with service inventory planning systems such as Prophet by Baxter Planning, PTC SPM, or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience configuring or supporting forecasting, inventory optimization, or supply operations in a service environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets
  • Proficiency with Excel and analytical tools; experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is a plus
  • Understanding of inventory planning concepts such as demand forecasting, inventory optimization, service levels, transactional automation, and reporting

Qualifications

  • Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience
  • Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years
  • Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years

Skills

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets
  • Proficiency with Excel and analytical tools; experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is a plus
  • Understanding of inventory planning concepts such as demand forecasting, inventory optimization, service levels, transactional automation, and reporting

  • Base Pay Range: $90,400.00 - $153,700.00 Annually
