Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer‑focused Service Engineer Technician to join our service team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining aerial work platforms (boom lifts) for both customer-owned units and company stock machines. Previous experience preferred. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong technical expertise, sound judgment, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a range of aerial work platforms and boom lifts.
- Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and cosmetic repairs in accordance with company standards.
- Complete assigned work orders efficiently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety procedures.
- Accurately document all work performed and communicate findings in a clear, professional manner.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
- Ensure repairs meet expectations for cost control, quality, timeliness, and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with working knowledge of hydraulics, internal combustion engines, and electrical/electronic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record; ability to safely operate lift trucks.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous machinery or equipment repair experience preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, standing, sitting, lifting, and lying down as needed.
- Demonstrated ability to follow direction, work independently, and contribute effectively within a team.

Compensation
Hourly Rate: $25–$35 per hour, commensurate with experience.
