Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex audio equipment on all levels without supervision, including standard and advanced wireless systems, wired microphones, headphones, speakers, digital audio interfaces, and networking devices.
- Work with software/hardware hybrid products and digital audio protocols such as DANTE, AES67, and similar.
- Apply knowledge of electrical safety standards for device-level repair.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or four to six years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing complex equipment independently.
- Experience with software/hardware hybrid products and digital audio protocols (e.g., DANTE, AES67).
- Familiarity with electrical safety standards for device-level repair (no electrical license required).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
