Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned tasks safely, encouraging safety among colleagues.
• Deliver timely technical services for transformers at various customer locations.
• Apply sound knowledge of transformer technical aspects, erection, and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot transformers.
• Maintain a customer‑focused, results‑oriented service disposition.
• Serve as primary point of contact between customers and the factory for the assigned territory.
• Install and commission new equipment, including associated wiring and protection systems such as relays and SCADA.
• Ensure electrical safety, hazardous‑area compliance, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Possess thorough knowledge of transformer operation and protection.
• Travel across India as required.

Requirements

• DEE or BE degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (preferably Electrical).
• 3–7 years of experience in the transformer service industry.
• Proven skill set in servicing transformers, associated wiring, and protection systems (relays, SCADA).
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
