Service Engineer
About the role
You play a key role in our mission to treat Cancer patients. Responsible for operating and maintaining the equipment that is essential to the Proton Therapy System (PTS), troubleshooting equipment issues, performing routine preventative maintenance, conducting system inspections, and communicating the system's status to leadership and other stakeholders. Support hardware and software testing, and be involved in all phases of PTS maintenance, including unit testing, integration testing, validation testing, and other site-related activities which affect global operations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and deploy the Proton Therapy System (PTS) for various customer needs, including software/hardware testing, troubleshooting, and experimentation.
- Troubleshoot PTS equipment including electrical, mechanical, and software problems.
- Perform maintenance of the PTS including routine preventative maintenance, system upgrades, and corrective maintenance as necessary.
- Perform system inspections and clearly communicate the status of the system to leadership as well as to IBA employees.
- Provide support to PTS hardware and software testing.
- Support daily clinical operations for the customer clinical staff as defined by the Site Manager and Site Technical Leader (STL) in accordance with site policies.
- Support the PTS in all phases, including unit testing, integration testing, validation testing, and other various site-related activities as defined by the Site Manager and STL.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Pay
Approximate Salary Range: $82,000 - $108,000
- Variable Pay: Profit sharing, time-based compensation, “above & beyond” award, referral rewards
