Service Engineer

About the role

Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of ultrasonic welding as a Field Service Engineer. You will provide technical expertise to our customers, ensuring the successful implementation and support of our ultrasonic welding machines.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and document machine and equipment commissioning
• Execute Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
• Train customer personnel on machine operation and maintenance
• Provide technical support via phone, email, on-site visits, and in-house customer visits
• Assume emergency and stand-by services, including shipping and delivery of spare parts
• Assist with technical trainings and customer seminars

Requirements

• At least 1-3 years of mechanical and electrical service experience
• Associate’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience
• Basic theoretical knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering principles
• Electrical experience with high/low voltage circuits and ability to read electrical schematics
• Excellent communication skills and motivation to build long-term customer and colleague relationships
• Willingness to work hands-on and travel within the USA, Canada, and Mexico
