Service Electrician

About the role

Responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings. Must possess a valid journeyman electrician license.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings
• Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety standards
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in existing installations
• Communicate effectively with clients and other tradespeople

Requirements

• Valid journeyman electrician license
• At least 2 years of relevant experience
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program
• Knowledge of electrical theory and practices
• Experience with common electrical tools and equipment

Skills

• Proficient in using electrical measuring instruments
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
