Service Desk Technician

About the role

Sentinel is seeking a Service Desk Technician to support one of our valued customers. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while completing computer imaging, deployment, and replacement requests. This role is responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, and basic networking issues, ensuring end-user devices are configured properly, and safeguarding customer data throughout the deployment process.

• Troubleshooting hardware, software, and peripheral equipment
• Troubleshooting network and telecommunication problems
• Configuring PC software
• Ensuring end-user devices are configured properly
• Safeguarding customer data throughout the deployment process

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a similar role
• Associate's degree in computer technology field or comparable certification
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software and peripheral equipment
• Experience troubleshooting network and telecommunication problems
• Experience configuring PC software
• Experience with a ticketing system
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Extensive knowledge of computer software and hardware
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds independently
• Must be comfortable working in a medical facility
• Must be able to satisfy our client's requirements, including proof of required vaccinations, drug screening and adherence to HIPPA privacy regulations
• A valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
• Must demonstrate a "can-do" attitude

Pay

• $25.00-$32.00 an hour
