About the role
We are seeking a friendly and ambitious individual who enjoys teamwork and providing excellent service to customers. Ideal candidates are advocates of health and fitness.
Responsibilities
- Count and verify cash, shift activity, and gift certificates, with departing shift
- Use basic computer skills
- Multi-tasking is a priority
- Serve coffee and smoothies in a precise and efficient manner
- Answer multiple phone lines and transfer or handle voicemails as necessary
- Keep locker rooms cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies
General Responsibilities
- Work with members and guests in a respectful and courteous manner
- Remain sensitive to others and maintain a genuine interest in working for our members' best interests
- Maintain a positive attitude while working with team members
- Demonstrate qualities of leadership, responsibility, and maturity
- Alert supervisor of any current or potential problems
- Possess good communication and written skills
- Have the people skills necessary to work effectively with the members and fellow employees
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- A flexible schedule, including working at least two weekends per month, evenings, holidays, and special events
- Minimum of 2 years in customer service, preferably in an athletic club, as a Barista, or other service industry
