Service Desk Representative

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and ambitious individual who enjoys teamwork and providing excellent service to customers. Ideal candidates are advocates of health and fitness.

Responsibilities

• Count and verify cash, shift activity, and gift certificates, with departing shift
• Use basic computer skills
• Multi-tasking is a priority
• Serve coffee and smoothies in a precise and efficient manner
• Answer multiple phone lines and transfer or handle voicemails as necessary
• Keep locker rooms cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies

General Responsibilities

• Work with members and guests in a respectful and courteous manner
• Remain sensitive to others and maintain a genuine interest in working for our members' best interests
• Maintain a positive attitude while working with team members
• Demonstrate qualities of leadership, responsibility, and maturity
• Alert supervisor of any current or potential problems
• Possess good communication and written skills
• Have the people skills necessary to work effectively with the members and fellow employees

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• A flexible schedule, including working at least two weekends per month, evenings, holidays, and special events
• Minimum of 2 years in customer service, preferably in an athletic club, as a Barista, or other service industry
