Service Desk Analyst

Job Title: Service Desk Analyst Location/Work Structure: Hybrid — 3 days/week onsite and 2 days/week remote. During the first couple weeks of training, may be onsite up to 5 days/week. At Vernovis, we help professionals achieve their career goals by matching them with innovative projects and dynamic direct-hire opportunities in Ohio and across the Midwest.Client Overview:Vernovis is partnering with a client seeking a Service Desk Analyst to provide hands-on technical support to end users across hardware, software, peripherals, Microsoft environments, and Tier 1 telephony. This is a 6-month contract opportunity with the potential for extension.What You'll Do:Provide Service Desk support and resolve end-user incidents and service requests through phone and ticketing systems.Troubleshoot hardware, software, peripherals, desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, docking stations, and related equipment.Deploy, configure, maintain, and support desktops, laptops, tablets, PC peripherals, and phones.Manage end-user systems and user administration through Active Directory/Azure AD and Intune.Support Microsoft 365 and Exchange, including mailboxes, meeting rooms, distribution lists, and related issues.Provide Tier 1 support for Teams and NICE CXOne telephony systems.Perform hardware/software installations, upgrades, patches, system configurations, imaging, backups, and diagnostics.Participate in new technology testing, IT equipment management, and rotational after-hours/on-call support.What Experience You'll Have:5+ years of experience supporting laptops, desktops, tablets, hardware, and software.Experience troubleshooting, configuring, and installing PC and Macintosh hardware and software.Experience with Active Directory/Azure AD, Intune, SCCM, Microsoft 365, and Exchange.Knowledge of Windows and Macintosh operating systems, desktop imaging, and Microsoft Office applications.Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, VoIP phones, and mobile devices.What Experience is Nice to Have:A+ CertificationITIL CertificationThe Vernovis Difference: Vernovis offers Health, Dental, Vision, Voluntary Short & Long -Term Disability, Voluntary Life Insurance, and 401K.
