Service Department Supervisor

Responsibilities and duties

• Responsible for customer satisfaction and overall profitability within the service department's areas of responsibility.
• Communicate with customers and ethically resolve disputes keeping the customer and company's interests in mind.
• Maintain timely paperwork flow to keep work in process as low as possible.
• With assistance from the support staff, provide timely and accurate invoices to customers.
• Responsible for human resources within the department, focusing on maintaining a high level of technician productivity, efficiency, and safety.
• Recommend and oversee replacement and repair of internal physical assets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; college and/or tech school helpful.
• Three or more years of experience with earth moving equipment parts and service in a customer contact position.
• Proven track record in customer satisfaction.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Positive attitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications.
• Highly motivated and able to work well in a team environment.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background screening and DOT drug test.
