About The Role
Position involves all aspects of the service and repair of motors, reducer and adjustable speed drives. Other processes including putting up inventory stock, parts pulling, assembling, repair/restock/warranty evaluations, testing and service, wash/prep/paint, packing, shipping /receiving and general clean up.
Responsibilities
- Hand repair and assembly of gear motors, servo motors, reducers, and adjustable speed drives
- Putting up restock inventory
- Parts pulling
- Repair/restock/warranty evaluations
- Testing and service
- Wash/prep/paint
- Packing
- Shipping/receiving
- General clean up
- Use hand tools for assembly and disassembly
- Visually inspect all work and rework as necessary
- Occasionally travel to customer sites in a field service role
Requirements
- Experience in the diagnosis and repair of industrial electric motors, gear reducers and adjustable frequency drives (mechatronics)
- Mechanical aptitude required to assemble gear drives and motors
- Ability to work within an SAP computer environment
- Communicate with all Company employees in a businesslike and professional manner
- Handle stress and interact with others
- Read blueprints
- Use gauges and other measuring equipment to ensure quality work
- Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
Skills

Pay
Pay Range: $21/hr - $24/hr. Compensation will be based on experience, skills, and qualifications. Candidates with additional relevant degrees or certifications and extensive experience may be considered for the higher end of the salary range. A 10% shift premium is paid for 2nd and 3rd shift positions.
Schedule
Shift: 1st
