About the role

EY is the only professional services firm with a separate business unit ("FSO") dedicated to the financial services marketplace. Responsibilities

  • Support engagement teams through the analysis of specific business requirements, design, development, integration, testing, and deployment of distributed software applications.
  • Deliver high-quality systems with a focus on reliability and excellent customer experience.
  • Collaborate with client engagement teams to foster an innovative and inclusive work environment.
  • Work with diverse skills and backgrounds to solve complex challenges in the financial services industry.
  • Manage changing priorities and learn new and rapidly changing technology solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in technology software development.
  • Back-end experience using modern technologies such as Java, Python, Node.js, REST, NoSQL, Microservices, Serverless, and Cloud technologies like AWS or Azure.
  • Front-end development with modern frameworks and practices like React, Angular, or responsive web design.
  • Experience in designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with cloud native/Microservices architecture, including IaaS, PaaS, and container deployment.
  • Experience with modern collaborative development tools (e.g., Git, CI/CD pipelines).
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools for unit and integration testing, including TDD or BDD software development techniques.
  • Comfortable working in an Agile and TDD environment.

Qualifications

  • Fullstack software product development experience with a preference for understanding DevOps and its supporting services and tools.
  • Proven agile methodology experience in delivering engineering solutions through all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements definition, engineering design, development, integration, and testing.
  • Hands-on technical capabilities in multiple programming languages.
  • Understanding of current technology environments and industry trends, and the ability to provide recommendations for engagement and client service issues.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Benefits

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this role in the US is $55,400 to $113,000. In the New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento), the base salary range is $66,600 to $128,500. Individual salaries within these ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension, and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.

Pay

The base salary range for this role in the US is $55,400 to $113,000. In the New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento), the base salary range is $66,600 to $128,500. Individual salaries within these ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.

Schedule

Our expectation is for most people in external, client-serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project, or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you'll decide how much vacation time you need based on your personal circumstances. You'll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
