About the role

The FSO Technology Analyst position involves delivering engineering solutions to support our clients' business needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist engagement teams through the analysis of specific business requirements, design, development, integration, testing, and deployment of distributed software applications.
- Deliver high-quality systems with a focus on reliability and excellent customer experience.
- Collaborate with client engagement teams to foster an innovative and inclusive work environment.
- Support clients in modernizing systems, processes, and products to enhance business and customer-facing platforms and services.
- Work with clients to transform their business problems through engineering solutions.
- Design, build, and consume RESTful APIs.
- Build applications/platforms with cloud native/Microservices architecture, including experience with IaaS, PaaS, and container deployment.
- Use modern collaborative development tools (e.g., Git, CI/CD pipelines).
- Implement testing frameworks and tools for unit and integration testing, including knowledge of TDD or BDD software development techniques.
- Work in an Agile and TDD environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in technology software development.
- Back-end experience using modern technologies like Java, Python, Node.js, REST, NoSQL, Microservices, Serverless, and Cloud technologies like AWS or Azure.
- Front-end development with modern frameworks and practices like React, Angular, or Responsive web design.
- Experience with designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Experience with modern collaborative development tools (e.g., Git, CI/CD pipelines).
- Experience working with testing frameworks and tools for unit and integration testing.
- Comfortable working in an Agile and TDD environment.
Qualifications
- Fullstack software product development experience with a preference for understanding DevOps and its supporting services and tools.
- Proven agile methodology experience in all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements definition, engineering design, development, integration, and testing.
- Hands-on technical capabilities in multiple programming languages.
- Understanding of current technology environment and industry trends and the ability to provide recommendations for engagement and client service issues.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
Skills
- Experience with Akka/Scala, Kafka/RabbitMQ, ElasticSearch, Hadoop/Spark/Flume, MongoDB/Cassandra/NoSQL databases.

Pay
The base salary range for this role in all geographic locations in the US is $55,400 to $113,000. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento) is $66,600 to $128,500. Individual salaries within these ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.

We expect most people in external, client-serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project, or year.
