About the role

The FSO Technology Analyst position involves working in a Service Delivery Center with US-based colleagues who collaborate closely with experienced advisory professionals.
Responsibilities
- Support engagement teams in analyzing specific business requirements, designing, developing, integrating, testing, and deploying distributed software applications.
- Deliver high-quality systems with a focus on reliability and excellent customer experience.
- Collaborate with client engagement teams to foster an innovative and inclusive work environment.
- Work with clients to transform their business problems through engineering solutions.
- Manage changing priorities and learn new and rapidly changing technology solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in technology software development.
- Full-stack experience using modern technologies such as Java, Python, Node.js, REST, NoSQL, Microservices, Serverless, and Cloud technologies like AWS or Azure.
- Front-end development with modern frameworks and practices like React, Angular, or responsive web design.
- Experience in designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Experience with cloud native/Microservices architecture, including IaaS, PaaS, and container deployment.
- Experience with modern collaborative development tools (e.g., Git, CI/CD pipelines).
- Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools for unit and integration testing, including TDD or BDD software development techniques.
- Comfortable working in an Agile and TDD environment.
Qualifications
- Experience with Akka/Scala, Kafka/RabbitMQ, ElasticSearch, Hadoop/Spark/Flume, MongoDB/Cassandra, or any NoSQL database.
Skills and Attributes
- Prior full-stack software product development experience with a preference for understanding DevOps and its supporting services and tools.
- Proven agile methodology experience in delivering engineering solutions through all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements definition, engineering design, development, integration, and testing.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with diverse client engagement teams.
- Understanding of current technology environments and industry trends, and ability to provide recommendations for engagement and client service issues.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
Benefits
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, including a base salary range of $55,400 to $113,000 in the US, and $66,600 to $128,500 in the New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento). Individual salaries are determined based on various factors including education, experience, and location.

The base salary range for this role in the US is $55,400 to $113,000. In the New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento), the range is $66,600 to $128,500.
Schedule
Our expectation is for most people in external, client-serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project, or year. You'll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your well-being.
