Service Coordinator/Dispatcher

About the role

The Dispatch/Service Department Specialist works in cooperation and partnership with the entire Service Department Team toward the single purpose of delivering exceptional service to our customers. The D/SDS will address and successfully resolve customer requests, questions, and complaints with the highest degree of professionalism, integrity and respect.

Responsibilities

• Address and resolve customer requests, questions, and complaints with professionalism, integrity, and respect.
• Engage with members of the service department team and Temp-Con organization to support the mission of delivering exceptional HVAC and refrigeration sales and service.
• Assist and support all facets of day-to-day operations of the service department.
• Modify and maintain customer records, work orders, and work performed, as well as invoicing and billing records.
• Partner with dispatch to improve response time and scheduling efficiencies.

Requirements

• Ability to dispatch service technicians to service calls and scheduled maintenance visits.
• Strong listening and clarification skills to properly assess and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Excellent computer skills and experience with MS Office, notably Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where every day is different, with attention to detail and taking ownership to follow a task through to completion.
• Solid phone skills that value and appreciate customers.
• Ability to work as a team player, as well as independently with minimal supervision.
• Positive attitude with a can-do, will-do, get-it-done work ethic.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in customer service and inbound call handling.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to navigate multiple support center operations logistics and software.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and abilities.

Pay

Pay Range: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour depending on experience.

Schedule

8 hour shift, Monday to Friday.
