Responsibilities

  • Answer and schedule customer service appointment requests via email, phone, and text within 30 minutes during working hours.
  • Correctly handle appointment and information requests according to available manufacturer reference material and dealer policies.
  • Confirm first appointment is made with customers for every new and pre-owned vehicle sold by the sales department.
  • Follow up via email, phone, and text according to CRM schedule to ensure customer satisfaction after visits and set next appointments if necessary.
  • Actively seek, capture, and appropriately hand off extended warranty and sales-related leads to respective dealer personnel.
  • Document and bring any customer service issues to the service managers' attention.
  • Perform prospecting and customer lead follow-ups.

Requirements

  • Must have general knowledge of telephone usage and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must have basic keyboarding experience.
  • Ability to memorize and use “scripts” to speak with customers and various dealership policies and processes.

Special Position Requirements

  • No management responsibility or authority.
  • High level of contact with customers.

Schedule

Hours for this position are generally 40 hours per workweek, or less if the position is granted on a part-time basis.
