Position Summary

As a Service Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our HVAC service team. Your primary responsibilities will include coordinating service requests, dispatching technicians, and maintaining excellent communication with customers to ensure their needs are met promptly.

Responsibilities

  • Service Request Management: Receive and process service requests from customers via phone, email, or online platforms. Gather necessary information from customers to understand the nature of the service required.
  • Technician Coordination: Coordinate and dispatch HVAC technicians to residential and commercial service locations based on expertise and geographical proximity. Ensure technicians are equipped with the necessary tools and information for each service call.
  • Schedule Management: Plan and organize technician schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize travel time. Monitor and adjust schedules in real-time to accommodate urgent service requests or changes.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with customers, providing updates on service appointments and any potential delays. Act as a liaison between customers and technicians to address any concerns or questions.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of service requests, dispatch activities, and technician assignments. Generate reports on service performance, response times, and customer satisfaction. Update customer files as information is received.
  • Billing Support: Ensure that all work completed is accurate and consistent with Temp Right Service processes. Update billing information on record to ensure accurate invoices are being sent.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience in customer service, dispatching, operations, logistics, or a related service industry role preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, web-based applications, and scheduling software.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • HVAC industry knowledge preferred but not required.

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop and comfortably lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to pass full background screening and drug screening.
  • Ability to pass MVR check.
  • Ability to travel, as needed, for projects or training.

Hours

Hours are Monday through Friday, in the office.
