Job Summary
Craig and Landreth Cars - St. Matthews is seeking an experienced Service Center Foreman to join their automotive team. This full-time, hire position is responsible for managing the service technicians and overseeing the daily repair, diagnostics, and maintenance of vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Hire, train, and manage a team of automotive technicians
- Oversee assigned service and repair orders
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of repair equipment
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with customers
- Provide cost estimates and other customer service-related duties
- Perform quality checks on repairs and diagnose any additional service and repair needs
- Implement strategies to meet service department goals
- Plan and forecast technician scheduling
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience as an automotive service technician
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair processes
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Leadership and problem-solving skills
