Service and Parts Seasonal Support
About the role
True North Equipment has been in business since 1949 and operates across two states in the Red River Valley. We are seeking individuals who are self-starters, hard workers, and eager to take on new challenges. This role supports the overall operation of the Parts and Service departments.
Responsibilities
- Supports the Parts and Service departments by providing customer service, assisting with parts handling and delivery, supporting service technicians, turf pickups and deliveries, and performing facility/yard maintenance and equipment-related tasks.
- Maintains an organized, efficient, and safe dealership environment while delivering excellent service to both customers and internal teams.
- Focuses on equipment and facility support, including washing new and used equipment, assisting with turf equipment pickups and deliveries, performing basic facility and grounds maintenance, conducting routine inspections and maintenance, operating forklifts, and following safety protocols.
- Operates forklifts, pay loaders, and other equipment (as trained), maintains a clean and organized work area and tool room, and represents True North Equipment with professionalism in all interactions.
- Supplies service technicians with parts accurately and efficiently, supports parts deliveries to customers and between dealership locations, verifies shipments, reports shortages or discrepancies, and assists with maintaining a clean, organized parts department and showroom during peak seasons.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs as needed.
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills (data entry and dealership systems).
- Basic knowledge of equipment, parts, and safety procedures preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Able to drive TNE-owned vehicles.
- Must be at least 18 years of age for driving purposes.
- Must have a clean MVR.

Pay
$15–$20/hour depending on experience.
Schedule
20-40 hours per week, depending on workload, in-season during our business hours Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM + every other Saturday (7:30 AM – Noon).
