Summer, Seasonal Maintenance Support

Essential Functions And Key Objectives

• Complete work orders or verbal assignments as assigned.
• Perform general landscaping duties and assist with special summer projects.
• Remove trash and rubbish from assigned areas.
• Perform routine custodial and housekeeping tasks: sweep, mop, vacuum, dust.
• Maintain clean work environment during assignment and thorough clean-up after completion.
• Perform manual labor including moving heavy objects, assembling furniture, general repairs.
• Operate light equipment such as medium size hand mower, weed trimmer.
• Report campus repair needs as they arise.
• Move, load, unload supplies between buildings or within rooms using hand truck.
• Work in a professional, friendly and courteous manner.

Requirements

• Communicate effectively in English (both verbally and in writing).
• Able to work in a professional, courteous and friendly manner.
• Able to perform manual tasks requiring some physical exertion.
• Able to accept supervision/guidance.
• Valid Massachusetts Driver’s License preferred.
• Punctual and able to follow both written and oral instruction.
