About the role
Convergint is seeking a full-time Service Account Executive to join our dynamic team. This role involves prospecting and cultivating new relationships, securing service sales opportunities, and growing Convergint's customer base.
Responsibilities
- Generate new Customer Support Program service agreements (CSPs) through acquiring new accounts and expanding service agreements in existing accounts.
- Sell CSPs to existing customers and manage renewal, upselling, and cross-selling efforts into other service product segments.
- Build customized solutions from a suite of service offerings, targeting buying groups such as CIO, VP, Director of Facilities/Security, Procurement, and others.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of opportunities, construct winning proposals, present proposals to decision-makers, and manage objections related to timing, price, and competition.
- Identify and develop pipeline specific to assigned markets and service solutions, including maintenance services, SAAS solutions, and managed services.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to sell CSPs to existing accounts and new construction projects.
- Maintain and cultivate relationships with existing customer accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction and meeting revenue and profit targets.
- Engage in networking activities, deliver impactful presentations, attend industry events, and participate in industry associations to enhance market awareness.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of previous B2B full-cycle sales experience, with a proven track record of achieving sales goals in a consultative-based, non-transactional sales environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong affinity for problem-solving, motivation, and results orientation.
- Desire to learn, understand, and apply service solutions to customer challenges.
- Ability to build customer confidence and cultivate business relationships.
- Proactive opportunity sourcing and ability to adapt to business changes.
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office, strong presentation and communication abilities.

Pay
The anticipated compensation for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 annual salary plus an annual incentive plan. Individual pay rates will vary based on the job, department, and location, as well as the applicant's skills, experience, certifications, specific licenses, and education.
