About the role

As a Server Systems Administrator within Epic's Hosting entity, you will ensure our systems are in optimal condition to support healthcare organizations using our software. Your responsibilities include developing tools for operating systems, troubleshooting and debugging code, monitoring system health, creating disaster and contingency plans, sharing expert knowledge in systems and database administration, coordinating with third-party hardware vendors, and working on systems that push the edge of technology.

Requirements

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Math, Physics, Engineering, MIS, or other hard science. A history of academic and professional success is required, along with knowledge of Linux or Windows system administration, virtualization, scripting, automation, or DevOps processes. Willingness to travel 1-2 weeks per year is expected, as is eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship and availability to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts.

Qualifications

You must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship and available to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts. You must also be willing to work with confidential, secure data and be responsible for its confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Skills

Knowledge of Linux or Windows system administration, virtualization, scripting, automation, or DevOps processes is a plus, but not necessary.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000 annually.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift.
