This entails generating scalable and secure architecture across our global IT ecosystems, establishing standard blueprints for application-focused infrastructure design, and guiding engineering teams to bring complex digital platforms to life. An additional responsibility is to drive the ongoing alignment of existing application infrastructure with our compute and OS lifecycle processes, while actively facilitating the design and streamlining of these processes.
Responsibilities
- Solution Engineering Architect Collaboration: Partners with IT Solution Architects to validate that server and storage infrastructure designs align with the overall technical vision as well as security and capacity requirements. Collaborates on evaluating end-to-end solution cost, assessing infrastructure risks for new deployments, and ensuring seamless integration with existing Infrastructure.
- Service Intake Process (SIP): Actively manages preliminary server intake requests and assists with the operational execution of SIP processes.
- Service Level Objective (SLO) Metric and Reporting: Generate quarterly SLO reports for SIP requests to verify that operational targets are met. Perform monthly/quarterly End of Life (EOL) and SIP reporting.
