About the role

Providence Place at Ingleside is seeking enthusiastic and energetic individuals to join our team as Wait Staff/Servers and Coffee Shop Servers. This part‑time position with a rotating shift offers the opportunity to work in a vibrant 55‑plus active adult independent living community, providing dining and coffee‑shop service to residents.

Responsibilities

• Take residents' orders and serve meals in a timely manner.
• Be a menu expert, knowledgeable about daily specials and desserts to assist residents with selections.
• Keep the dining room and service area clean and welcoming.
• Prepare for special functions and events.
• Provide excellent service and attend to additional resident requests.
• Maintain a neat appearance in regulation uniform.
• Uphold confidentiality regarding resident information.
• Set up the coffee shop, creating a delightful ambiance.
• Keep the coffee shop fully stocked and impeccably clean during service.
• Wash and maintain all coffee shop dishware and utensils.
• Break down the coffee shop and keep counters tidy.
• Add flower arrangements and wash/fold linen as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 25 pounds or more.
• Outgoing, customer‑oriented with a passion for providing exceptional service.
• Can‑do attitude; no prior experience required.

Pay

Compensation: $17.82 – $20.49 per hour, depending on verification of experience and qualifications.
