About the Role
Sedgebrook is seeking a friendly, hospitality-focused Server to join our dining team. No formal serving experience is required – we're happy to train the right person. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in providing warm, attentive service, and wants to make a meaningful difference in the daily lives of our residents.
Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming, positive dining experience for residents and guests
- Provide gracious, courteous, and attentive table service
- Take orders, deliver meals, and respond to resident requests with care
- Answer menu-related questions confidently (training provided)
- Set tables and maintain workstations in an organized, clean manner
- Maintain dining room appearance and presentation standards
- Follow food quality, sanitation, and cleanliness standards at all times
Requirements
- A friendly, hospitality-focused attitude
- Must be 16 years or older
- Excellent customer service skills
- Willingness to learn – serving experience is preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation and attendance
- Availability to work Friday evenings (required)
Pay & Schedule
- $16.00 - $17.00 per hour (based on experience)
- Sign-on bonus of $250 (paid in 2 increments: $100 at 6 months, $150 at 12 months)
- Non-Exempt, Part-Time Hourly
- Schedule: 4:00 PM - 7:30 PM, hours subject to availability; regular availability for at least two shifts (Monday-Sunday)

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for 100% of the workday
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and balance throughout the shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs
- Ability to push or pull carts weighing up to 50 lbs
