About the role

This role involves providing exceptional dining service to residents while fostering meaningful connections. Key responsibilities include assisting with meal selections, ensuring a clean and welcoming dining environment, and offering a warm smile.

Responsibilities

• Assist with seating, building positive relationships with residents and guests
• Help resident select their meals
• Set and clear tables, arrange seating, and maintain cleanliness and sanitation of flatware and glassware
• Perform dishwashing and organize clean dishes in designated areas
• Maintain dining and kitchen areas through vacuuming, sweeping, mopping while adhering to safety and infection control procedures
• Proactively communicate with residents and team members
• Participate in special projects, assist in other areas of the building, and attend in-service training sessions and team meetings as required

Requirements

• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Previous experience in dining services, food handling, or customer service is preferred but not required
• Ability to follow emergency protocols
• Proficient in English for effective communication with staff, clients, and visitors

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a state-mandated background check

Pay

$15.10 - $18.50/hour (non-exempt), based on experience, qualifications, and location.
