About the Property

Deloitte University Hotel & Conference Center – Benchmark Hospitality is a high‑end private hotel and conference center located in Westlake, Texas (near Keller, Southlake, and Roanoke). It features 1,400 single‑occupancy rooms, nine restaurants and lounges (including Starbucks and Seattle’s Best Coffee), 200,000 sq ft of meeting space with ballrooms, an amphitheater, and classrooms, as well as a fitness center, jogging trails, and sports fields available to associates. The property serves a professional clientele and does not host weddings, holiday parties, school groups, or other social‑type events.

About the Role

The buffet server will work in the marketplace buffet‑style restaurant, providing prompt, courteous service for guests and assisting in maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant front of house. This is a tip‑free position paid a base hourly rate.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests to take drink orders.
• Clear, clean and reset plates, tables, and maintain a clean workspace.
• Perform side work such as polishing silverware, rolling silver, cleaning side stations, vacuuming, and more.
• Be familiar with all property amenities and other restaurants.

Requirements

• Friendly and outgoing personality; enjoys smiling and talking to people.
• Restaurant serving experience preferred, but not required (training provided).
• Food Safety Certification and Texas Alcohol Beverage Certification required within 30 days of starting and must be maintained.

$19 per hour (base hourly rate, tip‑free).
