Server - Luke's 32 Bridge

About the role

Server will take orders and deliver them to guests while maintaining and enhancing the quality of customer service. With genuine hospitality, Servers will guide guests through menus, provide beverage and food recommendations, and ensure an exceptionally distinctive dining experience that builds guests’ intent to return.

Responsibilities

• Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
• Attend to customers, present menus, and help them select food and beverages
• Take and serve orders, answer questions, and make product recommendations
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
• Handle complaints or problems with a positive attitude
• Issue bills and accept payment, including proficient sales transactions using a point-of-sale system
• Check IDs for guests who appear under 30 to ensure responsible alcohol service
• Demonstrate impeccable product knowledge and use suggestive selling techniques
• Regularly check back with guests to satisfy all needs throughout their experience
• Maintain a clean and organized station, including pre-bussing and table maintenance
• Perform opening, closing, and side duties (e.g., setting up/breaking down station, refilling condiments, cleaning)
• Demonstrate knowledge of all table/station numbers and direct guests to areas/restrooms
• Create memorable guest experiences
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• Must be 21+ years of age
• Ability to access and operate business applications for communication (e.g., email, chat/text messaging)
• Must have required work cards
• Minimum of 6 months in bar-related positions preferred
• Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company standards
• Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for the duration of a scheduled shift
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 20 pounds
• Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching
• Work in indoor and/or outdoor areas, including exposure to high/low temperatures, noise, and environmental factors (e.g., second-hand smoke, flashing/strobe lights)
• Work varied shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work in small areas with limited access and perform tasks from sitting and non-sitting positions
• Constant contact with guests and team members
• Schedule may exceed 30 hours per week, including overtime as approved by management
