Server - Hershey Social

Job Duties

• Versatile welcome to guests upon seating.
• Offer menu suggestions, answer questions, anticipate needs.
• Follow liquor liability laws, ensure age verification, practice responsible service.
• Take drink and food orders, enter orders on POS register.
• Lift and carry trays, garnish and serve food and drinks.
• Maintain guests' needs throughout their dining experience.
• Pre-buss, detail, reset tables, sanitize surfaces, sweep floors.
• Unload dishes, restock service station, garnish line, prepare rolls.
• Prepare non-mixed drinks, soups, salads, present and receive payments.
• Answer telephones as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Able to serve alcohol and obtain RAMP training.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Follow all policies and procedures.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Positive verbal communication with co-workers, guests, and public.
• Control and utilize fingers for writing, POS, slicing, chopping, operating equipment.
• Read, write, perform basic math, remember menu items.

Job Demands

• Flexible schedule: 10:00 am - 11:00 pm, days, evenings, split shifts, weekends, holidays.
• Physical requirements: walk, stand, stoop, bend, lift up to 25 lbs, reach, wipe, climb, work outdoors.
• See at a distance, close range, distinguish shapes, use peripheral vision.
• Use body parts for tasks, distinguish sharp/dull, hot/cold, exposure to chemicals.
• Provide proper footwear.

Job Information

• This is a part-time year-round position.
• Working schedule includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs.
