Job Duties
- Versatile welcome to guests upon seating.
- Offer menu suggestions, answer questions, anticipate needs.
- Follow liquor liability laws, ensure age verification, practice responsible service.
- Take drink and food orders, enter orders on POS register.
- Lift and carry trays, garnish and serve food and drinks.
- Maintain guests' needs throughout their dining experience.
- Pre-buss, detail, reset tables, sanitize surfaces, sweep floors.
- Unload dishes, restock service station, garnish line, prepare rolls.
- Prepare non-mixed drinks, soups, salads, present and receive payments.
- Answer telephones as needed.
Qualifications
- At least 18 years old.
- Able to serve alcohol and obtain RAMP training.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Follow all policies and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Positive verbal communication with co-workers, guests, and public.
- Control and utilize fingers for writing, POS, slicing, chopping, operating equipment.
- Read, write, perform basic math, remember menu items.
Job Demands
- Flexible schedule: 10:00 am - 11:00 pm, days, evenings, split shifts, weekends, holidays.
- Physical requirements: walk, stand, stoop, bend, lift up to 25 lbs, reach, wipe, climb, work outdoors.
- See at a distance, close range, distinguish shapes, use peripheral vision.
- Use body parts for tasks, distinguish sharp/dull, hot/cold, exposure to chemicals.
- Provide proper footwear.
Job Information
- This is a part-time year-round position.
- Working schedule includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs.
