Server for Ocean Blue Restaurant at DoubleTree/Ellie Beach Resort

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Sets up and cleans station before, during, and after shift.
• Takes accurate food orders from guests and monitors food distribution.
• Ensures meals are delivered to the correct recipients and that food is properly prepared and presented.
• Checks station for proper set-up and cleanliness.
• Absorbs all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Familiarizes themselves with all menu items, their preparation, and service procedures.
• Totals checks, presents to guests, and accepts payment.
• Assists with bussing tables.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Minimum of High School education, post-high school education preferred.
• Minimum of one (1) year in hotel/restaurant serving role.

• Team player.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Exceeds guest and team member expectations.
• Operates available equipment such as cash registers and calculators.
• Basic mathematical skills for making change and giving refunds.

Pay

Compensation Range: $2.35 per hour.
