On-call Restaurant Server position for graduating students transitioning to an on-call role at the State Room Restaurant inside Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center.
About the role
Serve guests their food and beverage orders, explain menu items, present checks, and cash out guests.
Pay
$10.10/hour + tips.
Responsibilities
- Serve food and beverage orders to guests
- Explain menu items
- Present checks and cash out guests
- Work lunch shifts, evenings, weekends, and home football and basketball games
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-2 years serving experience in a full-service restaurant
- Must be 18 years old to serve alcoholic beverages
- Must be available to work lunch shifts, evenings, weekends, and home football and basketball games
- Must be a current State Room employee
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior serving experience
Physical Demands
- Frequent lifting of 25 pounds is required
Schedule
- Breakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts
- Mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Lunch service between 10:30 AM - 2:30 PM
