Server - Food JL Meatballs and Martinis

Responsibilities

• Ensures guests are greeted with eye contact and a smile within 2 minutes.
• Placed beverage orders within 2 minutes, suggesting appetizers and alcohol drinks of the day.
• Served soups and salads within 3 minutes, appetizers within 5 minutes, lunch within 10 minutes, and dinner within 15 minutes.
• Operated POS system, issued checks, made change, and closed checks.
• Must possess a personable, customer service attitude with organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Maintains thorough knowledge of the restaurant menu and answers guests' questions about the menu, food specials, and soup of the day.
• Writes guests' orders, checks dishes for presentation and accuracy before leaving the kitchen, pre-buses and resets tables, and assists in running food from the kitchen.
• Stays visible to guests throughout the shift, limits time in the kitchen, completes opening and closing side duties, and checks with manager/assistant manager before leaving shift.
• Observes diners' responses to additional requests and answers any questions guests may have, providing exceptional customer service with a smile.
• Works safely, following all established safety rules and regulations, communicates effectively with co-workers, supervisors, chefs, and guests, and follows all relevant policies and procedures set by the company.
• Complies with the company's recycling program standards and follows all state and company ABC Safe Serving of liquor rules and requirements at all times.
• Must be actively present to perform essential functions of the job.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Union Representation: This position is represented by Unite Here and is subject to the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
• Available to work weekends, holidays, and nights as scheduled.
