About the role

Part-time Server position at the Hilton Garden Inn restaurant, primarily working during the dinner rush (4:30pm–10:30pm) with several shifts available, including one weekend a month. Pay is hourly plus tips. Must be 21 or older.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tables by laying out napkins, utensils, and refilling condiments; perform all other preparation tasks.
• Stay updated on current menu choices, specials, and menu changes; monitor kitchen inventory for out-of-stock items.
• Maintain proper dining experience: deliver items, fulfill customer needs, offer desserts and drinks, remove courses, replenish utensils, and refill glasses.
• Prepare mixed drinks (as appropriate) for service to customer tables.
• Open and pour wine at tableside.
• Process payments, issue receipts, and return change.
• Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor.
• Assist with special events as required.
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Some familiarity with basic cooking skills.
• Previous serving experience preferred.
• Excellent oral communication skills.
• Positive interpersonal skills.
• Current food handlers permit.
