About the role

This position supports the culinary team who prepares food to be served to residents in our restaurant-style dining experience called the “Bread Basket.” Evening shifts are available.

Responsibilities

• Serve food timely utilizing Bickford’s process.
• Interact with residents in the Dining Room during meals to enhance their dining experience.
• Wash dishes, pots and pans following Bickford’s dishwashing procedure.
• Complete assigned tasks from the Kitchen Rotational Cleaning Schedule.
• Maintain dining room and dish machine area to meet Bickford’s expectations for cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Possess a Food Handlers Card or willingness to obtain one.
• Exhibit a “learner’s Mindset.”
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Competent written and verbal communication skills.
• Competent organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.
