Responsibilities

• Prepare food items and serve food to Residents within scheduled time frame.
• Follow menu cycle, noting changes or substitutions made.
• Maintain cleanliness of food service areas, including kitchen and dining room.
• Maintain the quality of food served, quantity prepared and sanitation of food preparation area.
• Maintain clean, neat and safe working environment.
• Affirm resident food needs and preferences.
• Account for staff, Resident and guest meals daily.
• Record meal service accurately as required.
• Report observed problems, concerns, issues with food service.
• Monitor changes in Resident status, needs or preferences and report appropriately.
• Adhere to all work, safety and administrative rules, as well as established policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• A strong desire to help others and compassion for the elderly.
• A high school diploma.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• A full criminal background check, fingerprinting, physical, drug test, and TB testing are mandatory.
