Server

Responsibilities

• Affirm knowledge of Colony Grill history, menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Engage guests to customize service and address special requests proactively.
• Take food and beverage orders efficiently and accurately.
• Enter orders accurately in POS system.
• Deliver food/drink items promptly and provide exceptional hospitality.
• Help set up, maintain cleanliness, organization, and appearance of your section.
• Run food as needed to both your tables and your teammates’ tables.
• Collect guest payments and provide change courteously.
• Abide by safe serving/liquor laws and Colony Grill policies.
• Follow cleaning procedures, health code regulations, and standards.
• Enjoy a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Previous experience as a server in a fast-paced, team culture.
• Ability to memorize all menu ingredients and seasonal specialty items.
• General knowledge of wine, cocktails, and beer.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods.
• Effective listening and response to customer needs.
• Courteous, friendly, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to prioritize tasks for efficient service.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old to apply for a server position.
